At ṚTAVEDA ("we", "our", or "us"), we prioritize the privacy and security of your personal birth data, planetary charts, and account details. This Privacy Policy governs how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you use our web platform and mobile apps.
2. Information We Collect
- Account Information: Full name, email address, and optional phone number provided during manual account creation or Google OAuth.
- Birth & Chart Data: Exact birth date, time, birth location (latitude and longitude) used exclusively to compute astronomical planetary charts.
- AI Conversation Context: Chat queries submitted to the AI Guru assistant to provide personalized astrological interpretations.
3. How We Use Your Data
Your data is used solely to generate high-precision Vedic birth charts (Raasi D1, Navamsa D9, Dashamsa D10, Ashtakavarga, Shadbala, and Vimshottari Dasha timelines). We do NOT sell, rent, or monetize your birth records or chat history to third-party advertisers.
4. Data Encryption & Security
All network communication is transmitted via TLS 1.3 encryption. Passwords are securely hashed using salted PBKDF2 with SHA-256. Access and refresh tokens are stored in secure HTTP-only session storage or encrypted native SecureStore.
5. Account & Data Deletion Policy Google Play Compliant
In compliance with Google Play Developer Policies and global privacy regulations (GDPR / CCPA), users have the full right to delete their ṚTAVEDA account and all associated personal data at any time without restriction.
How to Request Deletion:
To request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data, you can:
- Send an email to support@rtaveda.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" from the email address registered with your account.
- Or initiate deletion within the mobile app under Profile > Account Settings > Delete Account.
Data That Will Be Permanently Deleted:
- User identity & credentials: Full name, registered email address, authentication tokens, and hashed passwords.
- Astrological & birth records: Birth dates, exact birth times, birth cities, latitude/longitude coordinates, and saved Kundli / chart profiles.
- AI consultation history: Any queries and conversations with the AI Guru assistant.
- Wallet balances: Remaining promotional or purchased Veda Energy Coins balance.
Data Retention & Legal Exceptions:
Financial and in-app transaction reference records (such as Google Play purchase tokens, order IDs, and invoices) may be retained for up to 5 years strictly to comply with tax, statutory accounting, and financial anti-fraud laws. No astrological or identifiable personal profiling data is retained.
Processing Timeline:
All account deletion requests are processed and permanently purged from our active databases within 7 business days. Confirmation will be sent to your email address once completed.
