Ephemeris & Calculation Methodology

Planetary longitudes are computed from Swiss Ephemeris data, which is derived from the JPL DE ephemerides used in professional and scientific astronomy. Positions are converted to the sidereal zodiac using the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsha, the standard reference adopted by the Indian government's Calendar Reform Committee and the most widely used ayanamsha in Parashari Vedic astrology.

Chart outputs (Dasha periods, Shadbala six-fold strength, divisional/varga charts, Ashtakavarga, and related derived values) are calculated from these ephemeris positions using classical Parashari formulas, not looked up from static tables.

Scope & Limits

ṚTAVEDA presents astrological interpretations for personal, cultural, and educational purposes. It does not provide medical, legal, or financial advice, and computed charts do not replace consultation with a qualified professional where one is needed. See our disclaimer for the full terms.

Who Runs This

ṚTAVEDA is operated by QFLOO AI PRIVATE LIMITED, a company registered in India.
